I signed up for Indiana’s environmental license plate last year when I moved back to the Hoosier state. When my renewal notice came, I went online, paid the fee, and waited for my new 2025 sticker to arrive. But what came today was a whole new license plate, made of metal, same plate number. Why not just a ’25 sticker to put on top of the ’24 date on my old plate/?
I thought about the environment when I tossed the old plate into the recycling bin, trying to imagine its future.
